The Brain Factory is a team of private tutors located
in Melbourne’s Bayside, South Eastern and Eastern Suburbs.
Our tutors endeavour to build relationships of trust and respect with their students in order to develop their student's independent learning skills and inspire them to achieve.
We can help your child with their studies and help them handle the pressures of VCE. Our tutors follow AusVELS when moving ahead of the curriculum with your child. They have different levels of tutoring experience and range from university students and graduates of many different disciplines to qualified, experienced educators from primary and secondary schools. You or your child will be able to contact your tutor via phone, e-mail or using a video conference service such as Skype or Google+.
We understand that every student has different skills and abilities. We aim to help students improve their understanding, develop their independence and achieve their best, whatever their goals may be. Our tutors will help your child formulate an appropriate study plan that suits their needs and lifestyle, whilst helping them to reach higher levels of understanding and improve their scores.
All of our tutors have achieved ENTERs/ATARs of 95+ and/or have at least 2 years tutoring/teaching experience and have current Working with Children Checks.
The Brain Factory has recently added a number of primary educators to our team. These tutors range from university students to experienced primary teachers.
We have confidence that you will have a positive experience working with us and that you will see the results.
We require that parents sign tutors timesheets each lesson for administrative purposes.
A Brain Factory Success Story
Cam G, 19.
Cam moved from France to Australia at age 13. Although he was very successful in general, Cam struggled with his English subjects throughout high school. His parents, whilst committed to providing Cam with the best education possible, felt they were unable to help him achieve the competitive level of English scores he would need to achieve to reach his goal of getting into Law at Melbourne University.
Cam's tutor was able to assist him in building his English skills, specifically comprehension and essay writing, ultimately helping him to increase his English scores and achieve his goal.
